Family Time

It's been a while since I've posted and thankfully that's due to there not being much going on. Elliot has been doing well post chiari decompression surgery. We've been busy with work, family, appointments, and just having some fun.

We spent the past weekend having a "family weekend." We met up with another MCAP family at Dinosaur World in Cave City, KY on Saturday. It always amazes me that MCAP is as rare as it is and that there are several kids with it in Kentucky. Even more interesting, is that we discovered that Jack was best friends with Kaylie's mom's younger brother for years as a child and her step-mother baby sat him- yet, they had never met because she was so much older. Life is so kismet, the universe brings us the support and experiences we need.

On Sunday, we attended my grandfather's maternal family reunion in Brownsville, KY. For the third year, Elliot has won $50 for being the youngest to attend.

Oh, and since my last post, Elliot also got a big boy hair cut. I'll miss that scraggly crypt keeper mullet look, but his new cut is too cute!
